Enrichment Grants

The Foundation provides opportunities so all students have opportunities that spark their interests, connect them to their passion and help them envision and plan for their future success in college, career and life.

Elementary & Middle School Grants

The Foundation is committed to student achievement, and to providing teachers and principals the tools and flexibility they need to help all students achieve at higher levels.

Every year at every school, teachers, paraeducators and principals work together to create a building wide plan to improve that school’s academic achievement. In support of this work, the Foundation provides merit-based block grants for schools that encourage school staff to work together to develop creative approaches that get students excited about learning.

High School Grants

At the high school level, we support school programs that create positive, respectful and safe environments.

Imagine a world where every child feels safe, loved and celebrated. This is the vision of Challenge Day, a daylong mentoring program for students created to build connection, empathy and support among children of diverse backgrounds. The goals of the program are to increase personal power and self esteem, to shift dangerous peer pressure to positive peer support and to eliminate the acceptability of teasing, violence, bullying and all forms of oppression.

Thanks to your generosity, hundreds of students and adult mentors participate in Challenge Day every year. However, Challenge Day is only the beginning. As part of the program, participants are charged with reaching out to others in their school communities to spread the word and model positive change.
