Early Learning & Special Education

In partnership with VPS, funding supports early learning initiatives that help our youngest learners build physical, emotional, and academic readiness to begin kindergarten; as well as supporting our special education students to thrive and reach their full potential.

Examples of impact during the 2024-2025 School Year: 

• 103 children attended evening preschool at 10 schools to help build physical, emotional, and academic readiness to begin kindergarten.
• Over $17,000 invested in early learning and special education programs across the district.
